N.C. Derriksan and Son Enterprises run by Noll Derriksan Grand Chief of the Westbank First Nation and Grand Chief of the Union of B. C. Indian Chiefs.
Noll was a councillor for the Westbank First Nation in 1966, 1967 and 1968 and was Chief in 1969, 1970, 1971 and 1972 In all terms he was elected by acclaimation.
When Noll became Chief, there was only one home on reserve with indoor water, bathroom and plumbing and within three years, all homes had these facilities. Noll also had Hydro brought in to all residences on reserve
Noll during his term as Chief had land use and planning done for both reserves by a professional firm from Calgary, which was a two-year project to complete and have passed by the membership, unfortunately none of the subsequent Chiefs made use of this land use and planning.
Noll was the youngest elected Chief in Canada and by acclamation for his following terms.
Noll built and operated the Billy Foster Memorial Speedway, a stock car paved track facility on his reserve land. Noll owned and raced stock cars.
Mr. Derriksan is the Owner-Operator of several business operations in the Westside area, with offices at Old Okanagan Highway on the Westside, in the fourth floor of Building Three, at the new office/retail-complex "ESTATES SQUARE" underway at 1979 Old Okanagan Highway. These businesses include:

Noll is the owner and developer of Estates Square, a retail commercial complex comprising six and a half acres on Highway 97 S, between the Highway and Old Okanagan Highway, which will have nine building when completed; three buildings are completed, with buildings four and five commenced.
Noll has just completed a 1.2 kilometer sewer line at his expense to service Estates Square, and surrounding potential developments which will pay Latecomers Fees to connect to this line. This project was BDC financed.
Noll has planning completed for a Storage Facility to consist of four, one hundred thousand square foot four story buildings and a five-story building for a total of five hundred thousand square feet. This project is being held until other projects are completed.
Noll is currently completing planning for a retail commercial complex “Westside’s Centre”, to be comprised of 130,000 square feet and is planned to commence soon.
Noll sat on the Regional District Advisory Board for the Kelowna area with Ernie Winters and several others while he was the Chief of the Westbank First Nations. This was prior to the formation of the Regional District.
Noll was also an elected School Board Trustee for School District #23 again while he was Chief, defeating the then fourteen year Chairman of the Board.
Noll is a nationally recognized Artist, whose work is been collected locally and nationally and is in several U.S. State collections, as well as Europe.
TOUSSAWASKET is his native name he uses to sign his artwork. He is a Past President of the National Indian Arts and Crafts Corporation of Canada, which he formed for U.B.C.I.C. in conjunction with Indian Affairs, Ottawa. Noll also formed satellite organizations in all the Provinces and the Yukon and the Territories.
Noll was also President of the Indian Arts and Crafts Society of B.C. for over 17 years.
Noll was a Director and also past President of the Native Court worker and Counselling Association of British Columbia.
Mr. Derriksan did the first Native commercial development on Westbank First Nation lands, McDougall Creek Estates, which was also the first professionally engineered project on Native lands in the Okanagan.
Noll also commenced an attainable housing project Estates at Vintage Hills, now known as Sage Creek, a 287 unit housing subdivision across from the Twinn Eagles Golf Club, in Westbank; the first in the area which he sold, and moved on to other developments.
For many years, Noll was the only Native doing development on First Nation Lands and currently is the only Native doing major developments on the WFN reserve.
Noll is an avid classic and collectable car collector with a collection currently of sixty two cars.
Noll enjoys spending time with his wife and son as well as fly fishing, golf, cooking, reading, writing, and is a collector of Native and contemporary art and collectables.
